Welcome to the Hærvejen shelter site in Nørre Snede.

An outdoor natural space inviting you to relax and spend the night.
Located directly on the Hærvejen cycling and hiking route.

Unwind and find peace with the beautiful forest right on your doorstep, while still having access to nearby town facilities if needed.
We also welcome wheelchair users and people with disabilities.
A disability should not be a barrier to experiencing nature firsthand. The site offers people with mobility impairments the chance to enjoy a unique nature experience in Nørre Snede. The entire site, including one shelter, is specially adapted for people with special needs.
Using a hoist and a sling (available on-site upon booking), a person can be lifted from their wheelchair and placed onto the pull-out bed.

Booking is required for overnight stays.
All proceeds go directly towards operating and maintaining the site.

Shelters
Shelters 1 and 2 – each accommodate 5 people. (Shelter 1 is accessible/adapted for disabilities.)
The Blue and Red shelters can be closed and locked; each accommodates 2 people.

You book a spot in a shelter shared with others. If you would like extra space, you can book for more people than are actually in your party.

Tent site
Tent pitches are also available for booking. The area accommodates a total of three 2-person tents; if you are bringing a larger tent, you will need to book more than one pitch. You can expect a courtesy visit from the site manager during your stay, and you will need to present your booking receipt.

Upon booking, you will receive all relevant information about the site and the area via email.
