Brøns Å Shelterpitch
In the Eastern part of the village Brøns this shelterpitch lies hidden in a small patch of forest. On it you will find three nice shelters around a small firepit. Moreover there are bench-/table sets and a small composting toilet. The shelterpitch lies immediately east of the local railway and Brøns Station is also only a stones throw away.
South of the shelterpitch Brøns Å meanders through the landscape. In the stream both salmon and trout are caught regularly, as well as many other species of fish. Fishing license for a day or a week can be bought in the period from 16. april-31. october.
The shelterpitch is established in a collaboration between the municipality of Tønder and the local fishing club, “Fiskeriforeningen for Brøns Å med tilløb”. The pitch is owned and operated by the fishing club and its members.

- Firewood can be collected in the eastern part of the forest patch, belonging to the fishing club (see overview map). Be aware that you may only gather firewood in the form of dead wood from the forest floor – any kind of cutting, felling or damaging of living trees is prohibited!
