Hohenwarte shelter- and tent pitch is a part of “Hohenwarte”, an old marsh farm dating back to 1878. The farm has an interesting architectonic story, as it was constructed and build as a copy of the University of Kiel in Germany. After the II Worldwar it was used as an agricultural test station. Today it functions as a location for courses, accomodation and more, alongside with a small hobbyfarm. See more at https://hohenwarte.dk/en/

The shelter- and tentpitch itself is placed on a lawn south of the farm. It consists of 3 small shelters with a little campfire.
