Fineshaab – Arla® ØKO Shelter

Welcome to Arla® Organic Shelters
This shelter site at Fineshaab is located in beautiful natural surroundings near Hals. The Hals–Nymark area in North Jutland includes both the historic harbour town of Hals and the surrounding rural area of Nymark. Today, around 2,437 people live in Hals. The town has a long and fascinating history as a trading post and strategic location due to its position by the Limfjord, where the fjord meets the Kattegat. Hals is a place where cultural heritage, natural beauty and an active local community blend together, giving the area its unique character.

Fineshaab is owned by Peter and Karina. The farm has 320 organic red dairy cows and an equivalent number of young stock and calves. The cows produce 9,500 liters of milk per day. In addition, we manage 350 hectares of land-equivalent to 492 football pitches where we grow feed for the animals. The fields include grass, maize, peas and some grain.

Close to the Arla® Organic shelter there is a parking area, and from there a field path leads to the shelter. From the parking area it is approximately 200 meters in total through slightly hilly terrain.

• Since we would like as many as possible to enjoy our shelters, you can only book a stay for a maximum of three nights
• Number of shelters: 1
• Number of sleeping places: 4-(5) people
• Drinking water: No
• Toilet: No. The nearest public toilet is at Rosenvænget 7D, 9370 Hals or at Hals Church
• Tables & benches: Yes, there is room for 4 people.
• Fire pit: Yes, but you must bring your own firewood.
• Tents: No, setting up tents is not allowed.

Rules for using the shelter site:

• Remember to extinguish the fire.
• Use the trash bin.
• Keep the shelter site clean and tidy.
• Avoid unnecessary noise.
• No music is allowed.
• Animals are welcome, but they must be kept on a leash.
• Do not feed or scare the animals.
