Klink – Arla® Organic Shelter

Welcome to Arla® Organic Shelters

This shelter site, located at Klink, is situated in beautiful nature in Spjald. Klink is owned by Torben and his family, who are the third generation on the farm. The farm has 240 organic dairy cows as well as about 200 calves and young animals. The farm covers 420 hectares of land, equivalent to 800 football fields.

Spjald is the sixth largest town in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality with approximately 1,377 inhabitants. Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality is also the largest municipality in Denmark, with 56,203 inhabitants (2022). Spjald is located in West Jutland on Primary Route 11, 10 km northwest of Videbæk. The town is centrally positioned in the area between Holstebro, Herning, Ringkøbing, and Skjern.

The Arla® Organic shelter site is fully equipped with a shelter, benches, and a fire pit. All you need to bring is your sleeping bag, firewood, and curiosity about nature.

Close to the Arla® Organic shelter, there is a parking lot, and from there the field leads to the shelter. It is approximately 200 meters from the parking lot through slightly hilly terrain.

• Since we would like as many as possible to enjoy our shelters, you can only book a stay for a maximum of three nights
• Number of shelters: 1
• Number of sleeping places: 4-(5) people
• Drinking water: No
• Toilet: No, the nearest toilet is 4 km away (Ørnhøj Church), and otherwise, there is toilet access 11 km away at Åbildå lignite mine.
• Tables & benches: Yes, there is room for 4 people.
• Fire pit: Yes, but you must bring your own firewood.
• Tents: No, setting up tents is not allowed.

Rules for using the shelter site:

• Remember to extinguish the fire.
• Use the trash bin.
• Keep the shelter site clean and tidy.
• Avoid unnecessary noise.
• No music is allowed.
• Animals are welcome, but they must be kept on a leash.
• Do not feed or scare the animals.

Important: You must not have been abroad within the last 48 hours before visiting a farm, as you may bring animal diseases into Denmark.
