Lille Fastergaard – Arla® Organic Shelter

Welcome to Arla® Organic Shelters

This shelter site, located at Lille Fastergaard, is set in beautiful nature near Skjern. Lille Fastergaard is owned by Jørgen, and the farm operates an organic agriculture business focused mainly on dairy production with some crop cultivation. The farm has 140 organic dairy cows, which are free to decide whether they want to be indoors or outdoors, eat or rest, drink water, or simply chew their cud.

Skjern is a railway town and former market town in West Jutland with 7,839 inhabitants. It belongs to Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality and is part of the Central Denmark Region. Skjern is the second largest town in the municipality, only surpassed by Ringkøbing.
The Arla® Organic shelter site is fully equipped with a shelter, benches, and a fire pit. All you need to bring is your sleeping bag, firewood, and curiosity for nature.
There is a parking area close to the shelter, and a field path leads from the parking lot to the shelter. The total distance is approximately 150 meters through gently rolling terrain.

• Since we would like as many as possible to enjoy our shelters, you can only book a stay for a maximum of three nights
• Number of shelters: 1
• Number of sleeping places: 4-(5) people
• Drinking water: No
• Toilet: No. The nearest public toilet is at Rosenvænget 7D, 9370 Hals or at Hals Church
• Tables & benches: Yes, there is room for 4 people.
• Fire pit: Yes, but you must bring your own firewood.
• Tents: No, setting up tents is not allowed.

Rules for using the shelter site:

• Remember to extinguish the fire.
• Use the trash bin.
• Keep the shelter site clean and tidy.
• Avoid unnecessary noise.
• No music is allowed.
• Animals are welcome, but they must be kept on a leash.
• Do not feed or scare the animals.
