Lille Harresøgård – Arla® Organic Shelter

Welcome to Arla® Organic Shelters

This shelter site, located at Lille Harresøgård, is set in beautiful nature near Give. The farm is run by Nikolaj, who lives on Lille Harresøgård, which became organic in 2027. Today, the farm has 160 organic dairy cows.

The shelter is situated in a scenic area at the intersection of Givskud, Hallundtoft, and Kuldbjerg three small but distinctive local areas in southern Jutland. Kuldbjerg is known for its open landscapes and peaceful surroundings, Hallundtoft features rural charm and small farm properties, and Givskud, home to the famous Givskud Zoo, offers exceptional wildlife and nature experiences. Together, this area provides an ideal setting for outdoor activities, relaxation, and reflection perfect for a shelter stay close to both nature and village life.

There is a parking area close to the Arla® Organic shelter, and from there a field path leads to the shelter. The distance from the parking lot is approximately 100 meters through gently rolling terrain.

• Since we would like as many as possible to enjoy our shelters, you can only book a stay for a maximum of three nights
• Number of shelters: 1
• Number of sleeping places: 4-(5) people
• Drinking water: No
• Toilet: Yes. There is a compost toilet at the shelter
• Tables & benches: Yes, there is room for 4 people.
• Fire pit: Yes, but you must bring your own firewood.
• Tents: No, setting up tents is not allowed.

Rules for using the shelter site:

• Remember to extinguish the fire.
• Use the trash bin.
• Keep the shelter site clean and tidy.
• Avoid unnecessary noise.
• No music is allowed.
• Animals are welcome, but they must be kept on a leash.
• Do not feed or scare the animals.
