Nørgaard Landbrug I/S – Arla® Organic Shelter
Welcome to Arla® Organic Shelters
This shelter site is located in the scenic surroundings near Gandrup in North Jutland, a small town in Aalborg Municipality with around 1,559 inhabitants. Gandrup combines rural charm with an active local community, where history and nature come together. The town has roots in brick production, and the former clay pits have today been transformed into recreational areas such as the Teglværk Lakes, featuring trails, a fire pit and shelters.
Nørgaard Landbrug I/S is owned by Per and Jacob, who together with their employees run a modern, organic dairy operation with approximately 280 dairy cows and 200 heifers. The farm covers around 500 hectares, where grass, maize, grain and peas are grown as feed for the cattle. The production is based on seasonal calving, with all cows calving in August and September, ensuring an efficient and well-coordinated management throughout the year.
