Riskærgård – Arla® Organic Shelter

Welcome to Arla® Organic Shelters

This shelter site is located in the peaceful and historic landscape around Torup Holme and Ullerup in Jammerbugt Municipality, North Jutland. The nearest larger town is Fjerritslev, with approximately 3,306 inhabitants. In this area, rural tranquillity blends with living history; old farms, open fields and historic land plots testify to a strong agricultural community with deep roots. The surroundings invite calm and exploration through walking paths between the fields, rich bird and plant life, and a close connection to the past.

Riskærgård is owned by Per, and the farm has 365 organic Holstein dairy cows. The farm also cultivates 430 hectares, where clover grass, barley, whole-crop peas and rye are grown, among other crops. We strive to improve yields year by year using organic, natural fertiliser products.

• Fire pit: Yes, but you must bring your own firewood.
• Tents: No, setting up tents is not allowed.

Rules for using the shelter site:

• Remember to extinguish the fire.
• Use the trash bin.
• Keep the shelter site clean and tidy.
• Avoid unnecessary noise.
• No music is allowed.
• Animals are welcome, but they must be kept on a leash.
• Do not feed or scare the animals.
