Welcome to Arla® Organic Shelters

This shelter site, located at Salsbjerggård, is situated in beautiful nature in Lundby. Søren owns Salsbjerggård, which he took over from his parents in 2004. The farm has 880 organic dairy cows, which produce 22,000 liters of milk a day. The cows graze on the farm’s fields and meadows. Additionally, about 850 hectares of land are cultivated, producing grass, alfalfa, corn, and rye. In the summer, the cows graze outside during the day, and the young animals maintain all the coastal meadows at Svinø and Avnø throughout the summer.

Lundby is a small town in South Zealand with 833 inhabitants, located between Næstved and Vordingborg. There is a station in the town. Today, most of the inhabitants live in the station town, the rest in Gammel Lundby and Lundby Torp. Lundby is in Lundby Parish, Vordingborg Municipality, and belongs to the Zealand Region.

The Arla® Organic shelter site is fully equipped with a shelter, benches, and a fire pit. All you need to bring is your sleeping bag, firewood, and curiosity about nature.

Close to the Arla® Organic shelter, there is a parking lot, and from there the field leads to the shelter. It is approximately 200 meters from the parking lot through slightly hilly terrain.

• Toilet: No, the nearest toilet is 2 km away (Køng Overdrev camping site), and otherwise, there is toilet access 4 km away at Køng Church.
• Tables & benches: Yes, there is room for 4 people.
• Fire pit: Yes, but you must bring your own firewood.
• Tents: No, setting up tents is not allowed.

Rules for using the shelter site:

• Remember to extinguish the fire.
• Use the trash bin.
• Keep the shelter site clean and tidy.
• Avoid unnecessary noise.
• No music is allowed.
• Animals are welcome, but they must be kept on a leash.
• Do not feed or scare the animals.
