You cannot get any closer to the coast. It is almost as if you can sail your kayak all the way to the shelters. The Hegnet shelter site is fantastically located on the south-eastern side of Stenodden with a view of the water that is nothing less but superb. There are two Skrubbe shelters each accommodating 2 persons.

  • Number of shelters: 2
  • Sleeping places: 4 (two persons per shelter)
  • Drinking water: Yes, 250 m, see the map.
  • WC: Yes, 250 m, see the map.
  • Campfire: A campfire can be made on the beach or in a brazier.
  • Distance to the sea: 5 m

The Hegnet shelters cannot be booked in advance. They are used according to the “first-come first-served” principle. It costs DKK 30 per person per night. Put the money in the box specially set up for this purpose. See the map below.
