Welcome to the shelter at Hjørnegården

The shelter at Hjørnegården is located near Svanninge Bakker with a fantastic view of the beautiful landscape.

From the shelter there is approx. 500 meters to the Archipelago trail. If you follow the Archipelago trail there is approx. 16 km. to Faldsled, 10 km. to Faaborg and 17 km. to Fjellebroen.

At Hjørnegården lives a little family, which is mom, named Helle, dad named Søren and 3 sweet children named Karla, Peter and Sofie. Most of us speak a little english. Here also live a lot of sheep with lambs, and our big, but very sweet cat, called Misser.

We love to sleep in the shelter ourselves and light up the bonfire. We hope to give you a good experience and a nice sleep in our lovely shelter.

Near the shelter there is a fireplace, and a lot of tables and benches you are free to use.

The shelter is located in a corner of the field, where the sheep lives, but don’t worry, there is a fence, so they won’t come near the shelter. Please do NOT feed the sheep!

• Firewood: Bring your own, or buy from us, 50 dkk.
• Toilet: You can our toilet in the house if we are home, and only in daytime.
• Trash: Sort your waste and use the trash bins near the road.
• Water: You can get water from the faucet on the terrace.
• Horses: Horses are very welcome, but please contact us, for further appointment.
• Dogs: You are allowed to bring you dog, if you keep it in a line, and pick up dog poop.
• Luggage: Please contact us if you need luggage transport and we will make further arrangements.
• Help us to keep the shelter nice and clean – which means NO shoes in the shelter!
