Katterød shelter and tent site

 

This is a cosy, scenic site with a shelter with room for three. There is also a space for a maximum of 8 people in a maximum of three tents.

In this beautiful spot you can encounter everything from dragonflies, rose chafers, and salamanders to bats, birds of prey, foxes, and roe deer. If you are lucky, you might even spot some chickens, sheep, or a cat.

Here you can enjoy the morning as well as the evening sun.

Here you will also find a campfire site with a tripod and a grate.

There are good parking facilities if you arrive by car.

The site has Pipstorn Forest right in its ‘backyard’, and you can follow our ‘secret’ path directly into the woods.

It is about a 10-minute walk to the sea and Katterød Reef, a popular spot for anglers.

It is about a 15-minute bike ride to Faaborg harbour and town.

Price: 40 kr. pr. person pr. night

Toilet: There is toilet acces in the big hall building.

Water: There is drinking water outside at the house.

Refrigerator: There is access to a refrigerator in the hall building.

Possibility of a campfire: Yes. At the designated campfire site.

Fire wood: Available for purchase.  See below.

Dogs: Dogs are welcome, as long as they are on a leash for the duration of the visit.

Horse: No. We don’t have the space nor the facilities for a horse.

Additional: 

Firewood: 50 kr. for a full wheelbarrow.

It is possible to purchase eggs.
