Shelter in Magtenbølle 

In August 2024 a new shelter was inaugurated in Magtenbølle, 15 km. from the city centre of Odense, DK. The shelter is situated with at beautiful view 300 m. from the public road, so you can only walk those last 300 m. up to the shelter. You can park on the green pitch in front of our old farm (Magtenbøllevej 94, 5492 Vissenbjerg), also called “Sulelængen I Magtenbølle”.

• Number of sleeping places in shelter: 4-5
• Fire pit: Yes
• Firewood: against payment.
• Toilet: Yes. In an annex (to the west) behind the yard there is access to a toilet, water and bath (bath for a fee).
• Dog: Yes. But it must be kept on a leash during the entire stay.
• Shopping: Netto in Skallebølle, 2½ km. from here
• Tenting is not permitted unless agreed in advance.

A map and signs lead you to the shelter – access to toilet, shower and water is in the small house “The Annex” behind our farm.

There is bonfire and firewood at the shelter and even a small barbecue. We may have some meat in our frezzer for you to buy.

True outdoor people will love this place. Unfortunately it’s not for disabled persons due to 300 m of challenging pathway up the hills – we’re sorry…
