The Shelter site in Undallslund

The shelter site has a scenic location close to the Nature School in Undallslund. The site consists of a total of 5 shelters, 4 of which are located around a campfire. The 5th shelter is located by itself approx. 20 m from the others and cannot be booked. It must be accessible to anyone who happens to pass by. The square is surrounded by forest and is set back from the Nature School and packed lunch house. Please note that the packed lunch house may be reserved by other guests.

NOTE: On school days, you must be prepared to leave the site at 8.30, as the Nature School may have planned activities with groups of children between 8.30 – 15. On weekends and holiday periods, bookings are made from 10-10.

  • Number of shelters for booking: 4
  • Number of overnight places: 24
  • Toilet: There is access to public toilets around the clock in the gable of the Nature School. The toilet contains both a children’s and adult toilet.
  • Drinking water: There is access to drinking water all year round in the toilet, and in the summer from two outdoor taps.
  • Campfire: Use the campfire at the shelter site
  • Firewood: Sunk branches on the forest floor. Any logs at the end of the packed lunch house can be sawed up for firewood. Bring your own saw and axe.
  • Tents: Please do not set up tents
  • Waste: Take your waste home with you. Please do not use the Nature School’s waste containers.
  • Cleaning: There are brooms on the site. Please sweep the shelter after use.
  • Cars: Do not drive into the shelter site. Cars can be parked to the left of the entrance to the Nature School.
  • Special considerations: The site is not handicap-friendly. The public toilet is equipped for the disabled.
