Grønå Shelterpitch
Just north of the local river, Grønå, this shelterpitch is hidden in the southwest corner of a small coniferous plantation. At the pitch you will find two large shelters, a composting toilet, a small fire pit with grate, as well as a table and benches.
In Grønå, both salmon and trout are caught, but also many other exciting fish species. The Vidå River, with its tributaries, including Grønå, is probably the most species-rich river system in Denmark. One-day or three-day fishing permits can be purchased from 16 April to 31 October.
The shelterpitch is established in collaboration between the municipality of Tønder and the local fishing club, “Sportsfiskerforeningen Vidaa”. The shelterpitch is owned and operated on a daily basis by the fishing club and its members.
