Lydersholm Shelterpitch

In the village Lydersholm, not far from the border, this shelterpitch lies hidden in a small pearl of nature of about one hectare. The place once housed the local school, Lydersholm Skole. However the school was already closed in 1968 and the property has since been privately owned.

The shelterpitch itself is located in the northwestern corner of the property. The site consist of 3 shelters, 2 tentpitches and a firehut. Your very welcome on the lawn in front of “The Little School” (“Lilleskolen”) and in the small forest, but please pay due attention to the trees, bushes and other plants. Please note that firewood must not be collected in the area and that felling, cutting or damaging of either live or dead trees is not permitted. During summertime there is access to two charming old school toilets and water in the small side building east of the old teachers residence. Here there is also access to electricity. The old teachers residence and the garden that belongs to it are private, which please be respected.

The site is owned and operated by the Liengaard family and was established in 2024 with financial support from the Danish Outdoor Council.
