On Femø you can enjoy the special atmosphere that characterizes the islands within Smålandsfarvandet. The nature is varied with lots of hedgerows, bogs and narrow roads, which makes you feel like time stopped moving decades ago on the island. Unlike the other islands nearby, Femø has an undulating landscape, and has two idyllic villages called Nørreby and Sønderby, meaning northern town and southern town.
Femø is a rather small island, so you can explore almost everything in just a few days! While roaming around the island, you’ll see artistic benches and interesting sculptures along the way. Go take a dip in the clear water of Smålandshavet, og walk along Femø’s iconic beach, Sletteren, where the oceans meet.

Naturlandet’s fascinating route takes you all the way across Femø is 13 km long, and has physical signposts across the island. Aside from that, there are two smaller “Heart trails” available on the island.
