Visit the historical market town Maribo
This shelter site is right between Holeby and Maribo, which means you’re in reach of anything you can possibly need; the luxury of the city is right around the corner. If you end up making charcoal out of your dinner on the bonfire, then there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Maribo offers plenty of shopping opportunities, so anything you need on your journey should be within reach. Visit one of the museums, like the County Museum or the Open-Air Museum (De gamle huse), the Maribo miniature town or the picturesque Maribo Cathedral. Book a ticket on the tour boat Anemonen, and experience the beautiful Maribo Lakes nature park from the waterside, or take a ride on the vintage train (Museumsbanen) and visit the lovely harbour town Bandholm.

Experience the Maribo Lakes Nature Park
If you want to get a pleasant experience in nature, then you’ve come to the right place! You’re only 5 km away from the beautiful Maribo Lakes Nature Park.
