Horreby shelter site
This lovely, fun and different shelter site is located in the active village of Horreby on Midtfalster. The 2 shelters, Freja and Odin, are built into the very large cabin called Valhalla. In Valhalla, and right in front of the shelters, is a large communal fire pit and long tables for eating, staying and socializing. There is a kitchen table with sink and water, as well as plugs for charging phones and access to a toilet with shower.

The local grocery store is 175 meters from the shelter (left), open every day of the year.
Public transport:
Line 736 towards Nykøbing F. and towards Stubbekøbing/ Nr.Alslev. Runs Monday to Saturday once an hour, and Sunday every 2 hours.

  • Firewood: Yes, cut your own firewood for DKK 40 per day.
    When you book, you will have the option to purchase firewood.

  • Caretaker: See email receipt.
  • Bicycle parking: At the back of Valhalla (with charging station for electric bicycles)
