PLEASE NOTE: The water pipes are closed during the frost period. As such, the drinking water and toilet are unavailable from 12th November to 9th April.
The public toilet at the ferry harbour in Vesterby is open all year round.
Dybvig Havn
Discover the fruit haven Fejø, which is the largest of the islands in Smålandsfarvandet. The island offers beautiful scenery and extraordinary gastronomy; be sure to sample the island’s delicacies while you’re there, you surely won’t regret it. The shelter site is located on Dybvig Harbour, in a nice little recreation area with bench and petanque court, and has a gorgeous view of the ocean. There is a shower and toilet on the harbour, as well as a small dishwasher that can be used freely.
You take the ferry from Kragenæs to get to Fejø, click here to see ferry times. Seats on the ferry cannot be booked in advance, so make sure you arrive in plenty of time before departure during the tourist season. You can leave your car at the harbour in Kragenæs and walk or cycle around the island. It is just under 5,3 km from the ferry port to the shelter site at Dybvig Harbour.
Fejø has its own grocery store and a small tourist office that is open during the summer months. In addition, there are several interesting restaurants and cafés – see a list with information and opening hours for various services on Fejø here.
